บท 10: Chapter 10: Osiris and Isis

Sunlight shone through the windows of the Master Bedroom in Grimmauld Place number 12, right onto the eyes of the unmoving form of Harry Potter, who was lying in his bed. Bothered by the sunlight, he slowly opened his eyes while looking around in confusion.

"Who am I?" he muttered, half-awake. His mind was in absolute chaos, and he wasn't even sure about his own identity. The last thing he could remember was that he had landed on the floor of his bedroom. "Kreacher must have moved me onto the bed."

But that didn't change the fact that he wasn't sure who he was right now. On the one hand, he had lived through thousands of years, being worshipped like a god, countless lifetimes of power plays and backstabbing between System Lords, and many conquests amongst the stars.

On the other hand, he was Harry Potter, who grew up orphaned in a cupboard, treated like a slave for the first 11 years of his life. Then he found out he was a wizard and had a fated enemy that killed his parents when he was just a toddler. This marked the next seven years of his life; every year of his school time was influenced by Voldemort until his final demise.

When he finally thought he could get some rest and live his life, through a strange stroke of the famous Potter luck, he received hundreds of millions of years' worth of knowledge from his ancient ancestors. His plan was to somehow rebuild their legacy and become the founder of the second iteration of this legendary civilization.

But now? He might be both Harry Potter and the Goa'uld God Osiris, or neither of them. Maybe he was something completely new. He was neither a Goa'uld nor a wizard anymore. At least not really. While he slept, his body fused with the symbiote while also healing any damage caused by it.

He kept all the abilities from the symbiote; the naquadah in his blood even enhanced his control over zero-point energy, since naquadah is a superconductive metal. But one thing was sure: his desire for grandeur and rule was stronger than ever before. Osiris's influence had affected his mind quite strongly.

For now, he should keep the name Harry Potter, since this was his identity on Earth, and he was still stuck here for at least a few more days. On a positive note, the energy signature in Egypt was a spaceship. And the small golden amulet was the key to it.

Suddenly, he was ripped out of his thoughts when he felt movement beside him. "Kreacher..." Harry cursed under his breath when he saw a head of black hair lying beside him. And from the look of it, she was naked.

He kept his guard up since he wasn't sure who he would be talking to. Like him, Pansy was overwhelmed by the memories of the Goa'uld Isis. Now she also carried a symbiote in herself, and not just any, but a fully-fledged Goa'uld Queen capable of producing more symbiotes.

Pansy slowly opened her eyes, and she was just as disoriented as him. When she saw him, she asked, "Who am I?"

"Huh, you too," Harry replied dryly. "Can you tell me how this happened?"

"I... wait a moment. I was angry at you. When Kreacher unpacked the things, I wanted to know what was so important that you had to leave so suddenly without even telling me. I took one of the jars into my hand, and the seal was broken. It suddenly opened, and the Goa'uld symbiote attacked me and took me over. Pansy was so scared. But I am not Pansy anymore, am I?" she asked.

"You are who you want to be," Harry answered. He himself had no idea how to answer that.

"No, I am not Pansy. But neither am I the Goa'uld Isis. You never lied to me. There is so much out there, my beloved. My king." Suddenly, she placed her lips on his and kissed him.

Harry couldn't really reject her; they had thousands of years worth of memories ruling together as king and queen, so it was kind of true. He had experienced them, like she did. "We will get to the stars and take our rightful place again. But for now, you shall remain Pansy. It will make things easier on Earth."

"Yes, beloved. The red dot in Egypt is our ship. When will we get it?" She asked with a pleased smile.

"Why should we wait? Ra needs to be punished. Let's go today," Harry answered with a proud smile. "Don't forget, I have so much more than just our Goa'uld knowledge, which may be outdated in comparison to the other System Lords. They won't see what is coming for them."

"Yes, beloved. Kreacher!" Pansy called out, and the old elf appeared.

Seeing the two in bed together made his eyes light up. "The mistress has called Kreacher?"

"Prepare breakfast for your master and me," she ordered dismissively, like she would talk to a slave. "Oh, and I have overheard you calling Harry Half-Blood Master or similar terms. It's a master for you. Do you understand, slave?"

"Of course, Mistress. Kreacher will punish himself for his past behavior," the house elf cried out in happiness.

"But prepare breakfast first!" she called after him.

Harry was unbothered by her treatment of the elf; it was just a slave after all. Why should he care? His past self might have, but he wasn't just Harry Potter anymore. He may not go out of his way to be cruel, but he was a ruler, a god more than any Goa'uld ever was. This was clearly his fate.

Once they were refreshed and put on fresh clothes, Pansy and Harry headed down for the breakfast Kreacher had prepared for them. Harry had once again come to realize that there was something wrong with that elf.

Pansy treated him like a slave, and instead of being miserable, he was happy. The last time Harry had seen the houseelf so happy, he had fulfilled Regulus's last order by destroying the amulet of Salazar Slytherin.

Now he was treated like dirt by a pureblood mistress, and the elf thrived in happiness. His old self had never had a chance to turn the elf away from its racist and pure-blood worshipping ways.

"What are our plans for Earth or Tau'ri?" Pansy asked, interested in breakfast. When she asked him, there was something in her eyes that he couldn't quite place.

"I don't think we should conquer it. This planet is special. It's not only our home but also the one place in the galaxy with a wide and developed culture. I don't think the slaves that the Goa'uld spread in the galaxy have developed much in that regard. From what I can tell, there is no way the Goa'uld have interest in books, movies, and similar," Harry shared his thoughts before he realized that Pansy grew up in the wizarding world. "Wait, do you even know what a movie is, beloved?"

"I do," she nodded with a relieved smile. It seemed he was sharing her opinion on that matter. "When I left home, I started to explore the Muggle world a bit, and one of the things I did was visit a cinema. It was quite a pleasant experience that I would love to have again. I fully agree with your assessment. At least until our own civilization has developed enough to have a culture as diverse as the one on Earth."

"Hmm, even then, I don't believe that conquering Earth would be wise. It will make a good outpost for some hidden structures. But most importantly, I don't believe there is a chance they would ever worship us as gods. Even with our near-ascended powers that give us control over magic, they wouldn't worship us. There are too many people who know about magic. Not counting the wizarding world itself.

Any Muggle government knows what magic is. Also, the old Goa'uld Chappa'ai, or Stargate, is in the U.S. and actively used. It's absolutely possible that the U.S. government knows about the Goa'uld. I don't believe the other System Lords haven't spread their influence over the galaxy in the last eleven thousand years since our imprisonment," Harry explained calmly.

"That's impressive. I didn't think the Tau'ri were already advanced enough to figure out the functionality of the gate. Won't this be trouble for us if they have the gate? They could gain the attention of a system lord who could decide to conquer the planet."Pansy asked, a bit worried.

"Well, if it doesn't happen in the next few days, we don't have much to worry about. Did you already forget what I told you about our ancestors? They have left a weapon platform in Antarctica that will be able to deal with any Goa'uld invasion," Harry said with a smirk. "Our escape ship will be a good tool to get to it."

"That's a relief to hear. Are our ancestors who I think they are?" She asked as she sorted through the genetic memories of the symbiote.

"If you mean the Ancients, then you are indeed right," was all Harry said as they finished their breakfast.
