Chapter 50

LUX looked at his phone. He was currently helping Heart organize their groceries. They had eaten at a hidden restaurant where they used to dine, and then they went home. His grandmother invited him to go to the opera again, but he claimed to be too busy. He informed her that Katy and Elisa had already talked. Elisa was going back home as Alfonso hadn't agreed to her staying until the father of Katy's child returned. He still hadn't spoken to that man, and what annoyed him was why Alfonso didn't take action to find the player instead of forcing the man out through Elisa.

Elisa was going to talk to her husband about Katy more seriously, considering her to be a shame to the Allen family. Heart couldn't believe that her father had stolen her mother from his father back then. He was just irritated. He felt sorry for his sister, even though he had been angry at first. What more could be done? She was already pregnant.
