Damien closed his eyes. His anguish, his rage and all his emotions suddenly felt so meaningless when he touched his cheeks.

The smile on her face was so pure as if an ethereal light was covering her and he… full of darkness, dread and hatred, faded in the darkness.

His chest tightened and his blood went cold when she left the choice on him. She would accept anything. It only meant that he could ask her to give up on the child.

But then what would he become if he killed an unborn thing because of his jealousy and possessiveness?
