บท 77: Sow Discord

Gabi and Diana glared at Evan in unison when she returned to the room with a blushing face. What did she have except a pretty face? How could the lord love a woman like her?

As if she could read their thoughts, she smiled shyly, "am i late? Dami did not let go of me. I did not know he was such a exhibitionist." they gritted teeth so hard that she could hear the clattering sound from her table.

"My lady, I do not feel that you are any less. You should maintain the decorum in public. Your grace is a public figure." Gabi warned and Diana nodded instantly. Smoke could be seen rising from her ears everytime Evan whispered the word "Dami."

"Hmmm, but I am sitting in my own house and talking to my servants. Why do I need decorum then? Are you not one of my staff?" staff? Did she just compare them with her servants? They were working for the duchy, not her. Their eyes shot daggers at them but Evan feigned ignorance since they have no word to retort her.
