ตอน 98: 1951 Independence Day preparations

*There are some things to know about here. Republic Day is not celebrated. Only Independence Day. It starts from Pradhanmantri Bhavan (OG Rashtrapati Bhavan), and ends in Rashtrapati Bhavan constructed after India Gate I and Bharat Dwar.

Bharat Dwar, constructed in Hindu architecture, finished its construction this year, with the name of all freedom fighters and revolutionaries in recorded history, with the name Chhattrapati Shivaji Maharaj at the top. Fake historians obviously opposed it, calling Aurangzeb a secular guy and India's medival period's greatest emperor.

But who listens to them anyway? The degrees from European and American universities in Indian history is null and void anyway.

Besides Chhattrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's name is engraved, as one of the main contributor of the freedom struggle.

Many freedom fighter's name in the recorded history, like Gandhi, Udham Singh, Bhagat Singh, Lal-Bal-Pal, etc. are engraved in the structure as well. But, it will take many Dwars to fill all the names. In Goa, a Dwar is built as well in real Goan architecture, to honour the freedom fighters of Goa. The same is being done for other places as well.

Not everything can be done in Delhi.

After Bharat Dwar, there is Rashtrapati Bhavan, in Indian architecture with mix of Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi, Jew, Indian Islam and Indian Christian styles as well.

The parade will end with stopping the march just behind the statue of Chhattrapati Shivaji Maharaj, looking at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

No government money was spent on this. Common folks, industrialists, businessmen, kings, all donated their money for it.

India didn't use the Royal Families smartly in the OG timeline. The Royal Families have great wealth. The Nizam of Hyderabad, who has been funding the Mosair Revolution out of his personal interests, is still the richest person in the world.

Having the Royal Families to destroy all their wealth in vanity is criminal. All of them have been assigned treasurers, who invest their money in different infrastructure projects.

And what do they get out of it? Their names written in India's modern history and infrastructure. Instead of naming every second road MG road, why not let the royal families finance these things, because they want to leave their mark more than anything else?

Also, turning their area into tourist spots, and 100% of the entrance fees for tourist areas to go to their treasury will make them to motivated to make India richer.

Does doing these things make them more richer? Yes. But, it saves the money that would have turned to dust. It promotes tourism. It removes the burden of privy purses(Basically pocket money for royal families from the government. And their pockets are quite good) . And it provides a constant customer base for luxury Indian products. They can't use any foreign luxury product in public.

Britain has one royal family. India has more than 500. Who are experts in commissioning tourist areas that don't get destroyed like the Bridges of Bihar.

They, who have switched from privy purses to this model, are also invited as VIP guests in the Independence Day parade.

Aside from the Royal Families of India, leaders of Saudi, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Abhu Dhabi, Dubai, Turkey and such are also invited, and all of them are either arriving themselves, or sending people pretty high in position.

Having Nuclear Bomb does changes things. Now, Asian Union is getting more traction, and they sure will be fighting for a permanent seat, since they know that getting one in UN is impossible. Perhaps, they can even convince India to give them some bombs in exchange of oil. Currently, oil isn't THAT important like it will be some decades later, but it has been pretty clear that India wants oil.

Moreover, there is pressure from USA to start selling India oil to stop its dependency from Soviet Union.

From the east, leaders of China, Japan, Burma, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand and such are also invited.

From China, Deng Xiaoping is arriving.

Japan's PM is arriving. There are talks to collaborate for Thorium based nuclear energy reactors, with the goal of making Japan the biggest processed Thorium market. Whether it will happen or not will depend.

Thailand's king is arriving.

Australian and New Zealand PMs are also arriving. Australia will be a very big trading partner, especially for importing coal and other natural resources, and New Zealand is probably just happy that someone remembered it.

Neither president, nor prime minister of Indonesia will be able to arrive due to internal instability.

From Africa, Botswana's future leader, and freedom fighters from Congo are invited. Botswana will be a stable country, and be good exporter of Diamond.

And Congo is the most resource rich country in the world, possibly. The problem was that Belgium would just leave suddenly, causing civil war and stuff. And not many people knew about administration.

Both countries will get administration training for free in India and support in their freedom struggle. A stable and prosperous Africa will benefit India and the whole world. Though, US and USSR influence will be pretty big there, and they aren't really looking for equal and respectable trade. And India wouldn't be able to directly support or unsupport coups and such, nor it is willing to.

What if the dictator turned out to be bad? Wouldn't the people blame India?

So, the best that India can do is to provide them scholarships for administration academies, and hope that when they return, they manage their countries well and feel grateful to India for trade.

From Europe, France and UK's Elizabeth are invited.

The chief guests of this event are, USA and USSR's presidents. Both Truman and Stalin are the chief guests. The nuclear policy, and India's alignments will be tested in the trilateral summits that will happen between these three countries. UN's permanent membership will be discussed.

And most importantly, Non-proliferation will be discussed.

Political sphere aside, the President will be giving awards to many people. Shivaji Prize will be equivalent of Noble Prize, and many people in different fields, like Einstein, Ramanujan(decreased), Hardy, Marie Cury, S.N. Bose, Gandhiji(decreased), Sardar Patel, Subhash Chandra Bose(decreased), and such people will be awarded the prize in their fields.

This is going to be the biggest Independence Day celebration of India for decades, since it is the year India became a nuclear power, and gained some real influence in the world.
