บท 68: Adopted Sister

When Doreen entered the mansion, Doreen had this sudden feeling of sentimentality. She had not visited their mansion ever since she gave birth. She had never gotten over the feeling that she did not belong there anymore.

Only Leah stayed with their parents here all this time. 

"Good evening Miss Doreen. It is a nice surprise to see you."

Henry, their very old, but loyal Butler greeted Doreen upon opening the oak entrance door of the Smith's mansion.

"Oh, Henry, it is nice to see you too. I apologize for coming unannounced."

Doreen replied, giving the old butler a gentle embrace.

"I have missed you."

Doreen added in a whisper. She was surprised by her affectionate action towards Henry, which the old man shared because he stood frozen in front of Doreen, not sure if he should reciprocate the embrace.
