บท 21: Heated

Now that Vincent was face-to-face with April, he was not really certain what to say anymore. When the manager called earlier to inform him that the credit card, which had Vincent's private logo, was being used by April here, he hadn't really thought of any particular reason why he wanted to rush out here to see her.

After the dinner last night, he felt really confused about how he felt. Seeing Doreen and April being very nice to each other, brought back some good memories. However, he pretended that he was disinterested in both women being friendly still. But he had always known that the two had been good friends in the past. If he were to analyze it, Vincent thought that both women would have behaved the opposite, since he married Doreen, while he had a very complicated past with April. Then again, Doreen didn't know about that, so maybe that's why they were okay together.
