บท 73: Oops

The whole car ride with the strange man who had rescued me was silent. He didn't talk to me let alone look at me. If I rescued someone, I would have questions. I guess he didn't have any.

I was right about him living around. We hadn't driven far when he took a turn into a rocky road. Then, I saw a cabin when the headlights flashed in that direction.

I wondered why he was taking me to the cabin instead of bringing me to safety. I didn't know if I felt comfortable going into a cabin with a man I didn't even know.

" Can you please take me to the road so that I can find a way back home? " I asked.

He looked at me before chuckling and turning his attention back to the rocky road.

" It is a long way back. I can't take you back now since it's dark and it's late. Relax, pumpkin, I'm not going to hurt you. " He said.

His voice came out as gruff. It disgusted me more than I liked.
