บท 270: Not Again

Alm and Bruno focused completely, and the Yin and Yang tattoos illuminated in response. They concentrated on recalling that sensation they had before, then poured the power of their souls to the possible limit. The Yin and Yang intertwined slowly, and a few seconds passed... but it didn't change; it seemed unable to connect again.

'Hmm... something's missing...' Alm muttered mentally.

Bruno chuckled mentally; Alm knew very well what was missing. So, he turned the whale's gaze to his side; quickly, the girl felt the look and turned with a smile, and their gazes met for a few seconds. Then, both remembered the motivation they had in that moment of despair.

As if responding to them, the Yin and Yang flickered and merged in the same second. Alm and Bruno just sighed with strange expressions.

'This must be because our two souls need to synchronize... she's the only one capable of making us forget everything and focus as one.' Bruno said calmly.
