บท 158: I was almost tricked

The first rays of sunlight marked the beginning of the morning in the quiet village. At that moment, the village gates opened slightly, and seven men with serious expressions took steps inside, heading toward the center.

As they took the first steps into the central building, the entire place grew cold, and the air became heavy. Then, an elder appeared, descending the stairs, radiating a sense of impatience. The elder's eyes met Anfi's, and he spoke curtly.

"I sensed significant fluctuations during the night; you must have had quite the fun. But where are the women?"

The elder's words caused the gazes of the seven men to subtly tremble, and the elder noticed; immediately, his aura shifted to anger.

Anfi then murmured, trying to stay calm, "Grandfather... there was a problem. It wasn't our fault."
