Cornelius was walking on thin ice by using his tongue again. What he had against Valaine was beyond Elvira. She wished it to be a childish interest where a little boy tugged at the pigtails of the girl she liked.

"Prisoners? Is that your ploy to send us to a real prison?" Valaine spoke in exasperation.

"Yes. If I intended to imprison you, that's exactly what I would do," came Cornelius' sardonic reply.

"Brother, you're being rude again. Be nice to Elvira's sisters," Wivior raised his voice at him.

"How am I being rude?" Cornelius moved back in his seat, shaking his head in disappointment. "My idea may sound bad in one sentence, but if you allow me to elaborate, it wouldn't sound horrible."

"Proceed, please," said Leona, averting Valaine's death stare. 

"Are you jesting me?" Valaine snapped. "We're here to talk to our sister, not get insulted by an insufferable buffoon each passing moment."
