Wivior was asking Elvira to share her entire story with him. Despite his warmth and compassion, it wasn't easy. Magic outside her village and around people they did not trust was forbidden. The thought of using it still gave her jitters.

Where should she even start? The harrowing story of her childhood and coming of age? Or the revolting witchcraft practices? Perhaps her twisted relationship with her mother. Lilith was the most detested among wizards.

"I don't know where to begin." Elvira chewed on her fingernails. "What do you suggest?"

"For an icebreaker, I suggest a friendly magic dual." A white smoke shaped like a sword rose from Wivior's hands and performed some impressive movements of a skilled swordsman in the air. "I am fast. I am warning you."

Elvira smiled. "Okay." She created a smoky black sword with her magic. In less than ten seconds, he had his sword pointed at Elvira's heart.
