Edric was confused as hell too.

But something even heavier bothered him from Aunt Martha's words.

Aunt Martha mentioned that Loreen said she would rather die than their supposed child.

It gave Edric goosebumps and immense sense of fear.

Technically speaking, Loreen's latest miscarriages were in the early stages below eight weeks so they cannot even becalled unborn babies yet. 

But of course, Loreen and Edric would have already addressed them as their baby regardless.

However, if he was made to choose, he would always choose Loreen over their unborn baby. Not the other way around. They could have babies in the future as long as Loreen was still alive. But if she was the one who dies… Edric didn't even want to think about it.

The thought made him shudder in fear. He didn't even want to entertain the thought of Loreen dying.
