บท 55: A little sacrifice

Evena almost jumped up for joy. 

"Thank you very much, your highness" 

"But on one condition" the queen added. 

Evena had a grim feeling, he immediately knew that he wouldn't like this condition much. 

"What is the condition, your highness" he asked. 

"You will stay here in Salvatore and serve me the way Dreya has been doing" the queen said with a triumphant smile on her face. 

"Your highness, Evena is in charge of Starlight coven ever since I left to serve you. If he serves you now, there would be no one to lead the coven" Dreya said. 

"Then maybe it's time, you returned to your coven. Evena here will remain in your stead" the queen replied. 

"But…" Dreya tried to protest.

"Do you now question my authority?" the queen asked angrily. 

"Of course not my queen. I wouldn't dare do such a thing" Dreya said apologetically.
