บท 2: Reto vs Hashirama
Hashirama led the 5 Kages to the place where he faught Madara. And the one person accompanying the Kages naturally followed.
There is one thing that must be understood. Even though everyone knows that Hashirama is the strongest person in the world, not many have actually seen him fight outside of Land of Fire.
Well, Madara did warn Mu and absolutely humiliated him, which led to Onoki fearing Madara. But, Iwa was the second major Shinobi village that was formed after Konoha.
Suna was just recently created, after Madara had detected Konoha, and some months before he attacked with Kurama.
The Kazekage Reto has no way of knowing just how strong Hashirama is. He will soon realise what kind of mistake he was doing by demanding sone fertile land from Land of Fire.
In the valley of the end, there isn't a dam built with Hashirama and Madara's statue right now. Perhaps Tobirama will be the one who will build it.
Everyone watched with anticipation as Reto, already in his fighting gear, took out his sword and stared at Hashirama. Reto doesn't have Magnet Release, just very good at Wind Release. He stands no chance.
"Then, I will be the refree."
Tobirama said, and no one had any objection.
"3, 2, 1, Hajime!"
Both Kages rushed at each other with incredible speed, but Hashirama just stood in his place and did some handsigns.
Reto's sword was coated in Wind Style chakra, ready to cut Hashirama in half, but Hashirama created 10 wood clones.
And then, he created 10 wood golems.
Reto tried to slash at the golems, but Hashirama's wood is just too thick and durable.
The golems moved simultaneously, creating giant waves in the water, making it difficult for Reto to stand on it. Afterall, he isn't that used to fighting on water. And the waves were massive.
The wood dragons on the golems attacked Reto, and he was quickly getting overwhelmed.
No matter how much he slashed, the wood just regrew.
He ran to some distance, but Hashirama didn't chase him.
His intention was clear, just as Tobirama has told him to. Engage in a friendly spar with a Kage if he wants war.
'It will build friendly relationship with the other villages. Didn't you and Madara become friends by sparring? Just don't go too serious on them though. Just use 10 wood golems for show though.'
Even though Hashirama felt that Tobirama's advice was a bit strange, he believed in his smart brother. Afterall, he indeed became friends with Madara this way.
Reto bit his finger, and performed a summoning jutsu. Three giant scorpions.
In his battle against Ichika, he won because his scorpions were poisonous, and could perfectly hide in the desert, making her surrender and agree to become part of Sunagakure after he poisoned her and offered the antidote.
Well, she did kill everyone accompanying him with her Klaxosaurs during the fight, alone. Her strength is certainly immense.
But Hashirama...
Well, for poisoning him, he will need his scorpions to reach him first.
The Klaxosaurs that he faught were like ants in comparison to the wooden golems.
And there are 10 of them!
All Kages were fearful at the scene. They immediately realised that going to war against Konoha until Hashirama is alive is just foolishness.
"Even if all 8 of us fought simultaneously, I don't think we can even land a scratch on the Hokage. He is truly worthy of being called the 'God of Shinobi'. No wonder the Fire Daimyo married his daughter to Hokage's son."
Ichika muttered, and everyone witnessing the scene nodded in agreement in their head.
Back at the friendly spar, Reto's three scorpions tried to attack the Wood Golems, but the Wood Dragons attached to the golem swiftly strangled the scorpions, and with a squeeze, injured them, leading them to get unsummoned.
Reto, who was glaring and arguing with Ichika in the summit looked at her for help.
His arrogance was beaten out of him. Thete is no way Suna can make any absurd demands against Hashirama's Konoha.
Peace is the only option.
Ichika sighed, her eyes telling Reto that 'I said you will regret it.'
"Hokage-dono, Kazekage-sama was just joking during the summit to judge your personality. Afterall, many people commit grave crimes in the name of peace.
But we believe that you really are a genuine symbol of peace. Please accept our invitation to Sunagakure in 2 month's time. Let's end this spar here."
While everyone knew that Ichika was just giving an excuse to save Suna's image, which is directly connected to Kazekage, Hashirama actually believed the excuse.
"Hahaha! I didn't expect Kazekage-dono to be so insightful and talented in acting! Alright. We accept the invitation to Suna. Let's sign the peace agreement, shall we?"
Hashirama dismissed hia clones and the wood golems, and approached the Kazekage.
While it seemed like he was mocking Reto, he was genuine in everything he said.
The two kages did a seal of reconciliation, which Hashirama taught to Kazekage about this being a tradition of Konoha after spars, started with Hashirama and Madara reconciling their friendship this way.
The peace agreements were signed without any fuss this time, and Ichika handed Hashirama samples of sand near Suna.
"Can you please grow a forest for this type, that doesn't require much water?"
Hashirama scratched his head. While he definitely can, water will certainly be required for a forest. Well, Tobirama will be able to help him.
"It will take some time to figure it out."
Tobirama said, not really willing to fix Suna's main problem after the idiotic move the Kazekage just pulled before.
Ichika looked at Reto, and he nodded.
She pulled out two scrolls.
"These are two S-rank missions for creating a forest and water reservoir respectively for Suna. I apologize. I know that just two S-rank missions won't be enough to compensate for what we are requesting, but we can't offer any more since we don't have much resources-"
"Why don't Suna buy the Three-tails for solving the water problem?"
Hashirama naively asked.
Yeah. Suna can't handle Shukaku well enough already. How will it handle Three-tails?
In the future, Ichika will be able to solve the problem with Gelal Stones and Ryumyaku, but she can't do it yet.
"We don't have the strength to handle Three-tails, especially in a desert."
Ichika admitted, much to Reto's irritation. Afterall, no one wants to admit one's village's weakness.
Hashirama nodded in understanding and took the mission scrolls.
Ichika then handed him gold bars for advance payment of the mission.
"There is no need to pay in advance. Afterall, we don't know if we will be able to complete the mission."
Tobirama interrupted Hashirama as he was about to put the gold bars in his pocket.
Afterall, he didn't want to complete the mission. Accepting the payment in advance will mean that the mission will need to be completed.
"We believe in Hokage-dono and Tobirama-dono's strength. If not for my little sister already in love with someone, I would have proposed a marriage with Tobirama-dono. Well, maybe her kids will get along with Hokage-dono's grandkids?
Let's work together for a peaceful world."
Ichika continued flattering Hashirama and putting in things like World Peace in between.
In the end, despite Tobirama not wanting to, Hashirama accepted the advance payment.
Ichika managed to get what she wanted from this summit, despite Reto's stupidity.
But, she will certainly be targetted by Reto now.
The First ever Five Lage Summit came to an end, and everyone departed from Land of Fire to their respective villages.
But when Tobirama was returning to Konoha, he saw a strange summon, a mini Klaxosaur waiting for him.
It spit out a scroll and he looked at it cautiously.
As he read the scroll, his eyes widened in disbelief and he looked back to the direction of Land of Wind.
If what the scroll said was true, he will have to assassinate the Kazekage.
He rushed to the Valley of the end, to search for something that can spell trouble for Konoha.
บท 3: Ichika: Zero Two
(First PoV)
After Reto and I returned to Suna, he stopped me in the office.
"Ichika, don't dare to overstep your boundaries. I am the Kazekage!"
"Kazekage-sama, if not for me, Suna would have been no more. If Hashirama can kill his best friend, Madara for peace of Konoha, we are just strangers.
Think before making unreasonable demands and beware of our strength. As long as Hashirama is alive, please don't provoke him. Suna is already the weakest village among the 5 as it is.
Well then, I am going to do my research on puppets."
I didn't pay him any heed, and went away, reverse summoning myself to the Klaxo Realm.
Reto's bodyguard, Shamon, and the canon Second Kazekage, was killed by me when Suna came to subdue my kingdom and force me to join the village. Afterall, he was a poison user, so I had to deal with him first.
So, Suna is already the weakest, with only two Kage level ninjas, me and Reto. And with the weakest tailed beast, Shukaku. And Reto dared to threaten others with war.
"102, spread the rumours about Reto's stupidity in the village."
The little Klaxo snake nodded, and left to do the job.
In the Klaxo Summoning Realm, I sighed as I walked towards my lab.
When I reincarnated, I essentially became Zero Two, who can use chakra too. And got Klaxo summoning.
In the summoning realm, everything is in ruins. I think that this realm is not on my planet itself.
There is lots of technology buried here, the whole of the world of Darling in the Franxx. Though, it doesn't mean that I can use it.
Most of the tech is destroyed, and I have been searching this planet my whole life for whatever I can salvage.
As of right now, I have gotten 25 Klaxosaurs and intact, out of which many were killed in the battle with Reto, and most of the ones that I have are the ones that I created myself, using Rymyaku's chakra and the corpse of Klaxosaur Princess. A seemingly immortal princess who was killed. Whose clone Zero Two was in the original series.
Well, I guess all of this can be called a cheat. Though I need to excavate a lot of stuff and reverse engineer the technology.
I sighed and watched how much the experiment has progressed.
My cells are a combination of Klaxosaur princess and a human's. And they are a lot adaptable to Ryumyaku's chakra. Must be because they are both from reptiles.
The experiment before me is a tail. It was just some cells and Ryumyaku's chakra put together, but in 3 months, it has grown into a black tail with neon blue patterns.
Well, given that majority of the cells are from Klaxosaur princess's tail/tentacle, I guess it is understandable.
I sighed and sat on a chair.
The little snake Klaxosaur that I left in Land of Fire to deliver a message to Tobirama has returned.
The message was simply that Madara is alive. By now he must have dig Madara's grave and found him missing.
As for why I informed him about it? It's simple.
When I completely take over the Land of Wind, the other Daimyos won't remain silent. The will fear that their own Shinobi Villages will take over their country.
And that will mean that the other Daimyos will issue mission against Land of Wind, and possibly war.
Well, if not that, they will atleast put sanctions. Land of Wind buys most of its food from Land of Fire.
I don't know how and when Hashirama will die, but Tobirama will be the most important Hokage, considering his students will remain in power for a long time.
And I don't really want to fight Konoha. Perhaps kidnap geniuses like Orochimaru as soon as he is born though. And conquering the neighbouring Land of Grass will be better for producing food.
Well, since I helped Tobirama via my 'prophetic ability' as the Queen of Roran, he should work to create a forest and big water body near Suna, and protect me from Reto's assassination.
I went out of my lab, and oversaw the Klaxosaurs drilling this most-likely planet to uncover more Klaxosaurs and find remains of Himan civilization.
I only discovered the Klaxosaur princess's corpse just some months ago, and used her DNA to enhance myself and becoming the master of all Klaxosaurs without needing to subdue them one by one and force them under summoning contract.
But by then, Reto had already become the Kazekage.
Though even now, Reto's poisonous scorpion is my weakness.
And I don't doubt that Reto has already started planning to assassinate me, who is a threat to his control over Suna.
I know some medical ninjutsu, but not enough to create antidotes of his poisons. That's why I also gave Tobirama a sample of his poison that I got when I fought Reto before joining Suna. To create an antidote.
It can be considered betrayal, giving away the secret of the village's Kage. But, Reto is simply a curse to Suna and its people.
As I was thinking about all this, the Klaxosaur that is drilling the planet hit something, and gave me a telepathic signal.
I took control over the Klaxosaur, and used other Klaxosaurs as well to dig the earth around the findings.
After a long process which took hours, I finally hit the jackpot.
The remains of a human plantation, along with Klaxosaur princess's main Klaxosaur, and Zero Two's mecha as well.
I entered the mecha, and actually found two bodies.
The parasite suits were intact, but the boy's body has already decomposed.
But the girl's body was different.
It was Zero Two's actual body, looking just like me!
What the hell!?
While it was dead due to lack of oxygen, her body hasn't decomposed.
Suddenly, my horns emitted lightning on their own and connected to Zero Two's.
I clutched my head as her memories flooded into me.
And, I finally realised just what has happened here.
