A faint murmur escaped Xilan's lips. The business opportunity he spoke of was none other than Straw Hat Luffy.

When Xilan set fire to Mariejois, Boa Hancock, as a slave, had taken the opportunity to escape. Xilan was a pure opportunist—saving people came with a price.
At the time, Boa Hancock was still young and penniless, with pockets cleaner than her own face. She couldn't afford the three billion berries required to secure her freedom.

In comparison, Luffy seemed straightforward and honest in matters of love, and he wouldn't mind her past.

"Very strong," Boa Hancock solemnly nodded. "He should be the most powerful person I have ever encountered. Before his fall, he was a great hero in my eyes."
Boa Hancock's eyes became blurred, lost in a trance, and a deep admiration emerged on her pretty face, remembering how many Celestial Dragons that fire killed in Mariejois thanks to a certain someone.
The ship suddenly jolted as it unintentionally collided with the port, causing the entire vessel to tremble violently.
"Luffy, hold your breath, don't act recklessly, and don't attack that man," Boa Hancock cautioned in a low voice.
Upon disembarking on the island, Boa Hancock frowned as she observed the extensive ruins before her.
"It's been a long time, Hancock," Xilan greeted, raising his hand with a gentle smile on his face.
"Xilan!" Boa Hancock gritted her teeth, her beautiful eyes reflecting a hint of hostility.
"Xilan?" Xilan furrowed his brows, reminding her, "The old you used to address me 'differently'.'"
"That was in the past," Boa Hancock replied coldly. "...it has nothing to do with you anymore."
"Ah lai lai... Do you want to break the contract?" Xilan restrained his smile and asked casually. "Do you think your wings have grown stronger, or perhaps you believe I've become too old to hold a knife?"
"Neither," Boa Hancock shook her head and spoke directly, "I have been with you for so many years, and you have drained me dry. It's time for us to part ways."
After finishing speaking, her beautiful eyes flashed with complex colors, "You are a very contradictory existence in my heart, I admire you very much, because you saved me at the beginning, but I also hate you...the reason for that... is something I believe you can understand by yourself."
Boa Hancock's words struck a nerve within Xilan, and he couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. Her accusation of him draining her out and their complex relationship resonated with him.
Smiling in response, Xilan appreciated Boa Hancock's attitude, finding it more favorable compared to the likes of the foolish Magellan, who would attack him on sight.
"Listen, I don't need your admiration, and you don't need to hate me either. Remember, our relationship is purely contractual. The 30-year period has not yet expired, and you still belong to me, that's all," Xilan emphasized, his voice carrying a touch of authority.
"Belong to you?" Boa Hancock glanced at Xilan's crotch, her expression unyielding. "You're too old. Many years ago, you couldn't perform, so why are you still claiming ownership over me? You're 74 years old now, practically dead. No amount of drugs will change that!"
Fuck! Her sudden remark left Xilan stunned. What did she mean by this? Was she leaving him because his old body was failing him?
"This doesn't make any sense!" Xilan's mind was in turmoil, unable to comprehend the situation for some time.
While he had been old and physically weak in the past, since purchasing the Eternal Body for 200 billion, his outward appearance may have remained old, but his actual physical fitness and various organs had returned to their youthful state.
