บท 1: Chapter 1
Daniel Craig was born in pallet town, Kanto region. Upto around 18 months since he was born everything was normal until he learnt to speak as that was the time when he received memories of his previous life. The only things he remembered was a world where pokemon was a franchise consisting of popular games and anime series and the only reason he was transmigrated was his knowledge on pokemon.
Growing up he started to understand how this world worked. The world of pokemon was full of energy that could be accessed by pokemon to strengthen themselves and use moves. Humans of the world could also access this energy through bonds formed with their pokemon. As a trainers pokemon grew stronger, so did the trainer. Humans of the world grew very quickly. By the age of 10 they could receive their own pokemon. After that they could choose the path they would like to take for their future.
Daniel who would soon have his 10th birthday wanted to become an adventurer, go out on his own journey and become a strong trainer. His parents had enough money to get him one of the three starter pokemon that professor oak gave out – bulbasaur, charmander and squirtle. Starter pokemon were usually quite rare and had a great growth rate to match trainers starting out on their journey. However Daniel did not plan have one of these as his first pokemon. According to his understanding although the Kanto region has some powerful pokemon, by choosing a starter from a different region he could visit the region to catch pokemon that wouldn't be normally available to him. That way he would have a wider variety of pokemon to choose from not to mention since he lived in Kanto he might encounter the Kanto starters on his journey.
Residents of this world were required to have 6 years of compulsory education starting from the year they would turn 5 which meant that by the end of the final year all students would be 10 years old and would get a proper trainers license after they pass their finals. When someone turned 10 they would automatically get a probational license and would be allowed to skip school until the day of the finals. Daniel wasn't the best student in his class but his curiosity pertaining subjects related to pokemon helped him study a lot making him one of the top scorers.
25th Sept 1020
Today is Daniels 10th birthday. He visited school a little early to meet his school friends that he wouldn't meet for a long time after today. He plans to go on a short training journey after receiving his starter.
"Happy Birthday" his friend Rod Lawson wished him as soon as he entered his classroom.
"Thanks" Daniel nodded and placed his bag on his seat.
"Seems like Chris is late."
"Yeah"
Daniel and Rod along with Chris Oz had formed their small group during the early years of school.
Chris who was the son of Daniel's parent's friend. He had already decided to get a squirtle as his first pokemon. Rod was already 10 and did not have a well-to-do family had received a pidgey as his starter and had also caught a tangela.
Soon after Daniel settled in his seat, Chris enters the room. Time passed soon as they started chatting and the bell rang for their classes to start. Classes of the final year were mostly theory based as most students preferred to skip classes or attend online since they had the choice to do so. After the school ended the 3 of them headed to Daniels house to celebrate. Daniel was about to receive his starter and set off on his own journey.
After cutting his cake Daniel accepted his gifts especially the ones from his parents which was a bag, a smartphone and a pokeball. Exited Daniel held his smartphone in one hand and opened the pokeball already registered to this temporary ID by his parents. The pokeball opened and light shone from within materializing into a pokemon...….
