บท 45: GOING TO FALLENVILLE
CHAPTER FORTY FIVE
'My heart is bleeding, my senses are fading, my eyes are ever gloomy and I feel like ending it all. Am I not enough? Am I not pretty enough or are they just really into full time bitches only? I can't do this no more, I can't continue to hurt myself'
[Ring! Ring!]
"Hello Connie"
"Hi Kate, sup? Why haven't we heard from you in like forever?" asked Dr Connie.
"Well a lot has actually been happening in my life and I just really need to slow down a lot," said Kate.
"Huh…nah! Maybe some other time" replied Kate.
"Still refusing my offers huh?!"
"Come on Connie, I have told you times without numbers that I am just not ready for one!"
"Alright, I have heard that like a billion times already and you know my ever present reply,…"
"Yes I do, " said Kate with a smile as she shook her head.
"Hit me up when you are ready for one!" said Kate and Dr Connie simultaneously and they burst into laughter. When they had calmed from their laughter, Dr Connie finally asked, "so, why did you call?"
"Hmmm! I'm sorry for doing this but I need you to do a favour for me!" said Kate.
"What is that going to be?" asked Dr Connie.
"I'm going to text you the address of a place and I want you to help me get my things from there"
"You are moving?" asked Dr Connie.
"Yes I am. I am moving out from Brooks to Fallenville"
"That's sudden but alright. I find out the day I am less busy I did hit you up, I promise!"
"Thanks so much Connie, I don't know what I could have been able to do without you " said Kate, with so much excitement.
"There is something you could have done, do you know what it is?" asked Dr Connie.
"Nope!"
"Nothing love" said Dr Connie and Kate cringed a little but she covered it up with a laugh.
When she was done, she sent Connie the address to Red Moon Pack. She looked at the little sheet of paper where she had written all the persons she wanted to call. Next she called Nanny Freya.
"Good day Nan!"
"My darling! You just left without a word."
"I'm sorry Nan. Just couldn't come back to the mansion. When I have fixed myself a little, I'll be back. I miss you so much!"
"Miss you too child"
"Nan, please could you help me pack my things into boxes. Someone would be coming to pack them!"
"Alright child. We'll speak later and I want you to know that I love you" said Nanny Freya. As the call disconnected, she began to cry. She was leaving everything and everyone she holds dear just because of someone else's mistake. This wasn't fair but it is what it is…
She ruled out Nanny Freya's name before checking who was next to be called on her list. Next was Alpha Ralph!
She cleared her throat as Alpha Ralph's phone rang. There was a golden rule that every pack member is aware of. YOU DO NOT CALL THE ALPHA MORE THAN ONCE!
Luckily for her, he picked. "Good day Supreme Alpha!" greeted Kate.
"It is now you know I am your Supreme Alpha" said Ralph to his favourite doctor.
"I got your email and two things. Feel free to reach out to me when you need anything and run for now but I would bring you back" replied Ralph in his ever gruff voice.
"Thanks Supreme Alpha".
"Thanks, best pack doctor I have ever had!" said Ralph and Kate blushed as Alpha Ralph picked up her call.
Two weeks later
"Hello Dr Kate, you sent some human dude to come get your stuff?" asked a pack warrior through Dr Connie's friend.
"Please let him in and treat him right. He just wants to get my things!" said Kate and Dexter allowed Dr Connie access into the compound. He was awed by the mansion, the scenery and the architectural design of the mansion. He was directed to Nanny Freya who showed him where Kate's boxed materials were stacked. He was about to start carrying them to his car when Beta Stephan came downstairs.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" asked Beta Stephan as he sized Dr Connie with his eyes. He was in no mood for anyone…
"Good day sir" said Dr Connie and he stretched a hand towards Stephan. Stephan gradually pulled his right hand from his pocket before giving him a very brief handshake. It could be taken as a 'finger shake' rather than a handshake.
"My name is Connie and Dr Kate sent me to get her things from your place. I must say that Dr Kate lived in a pretty nice place."
"What do you mean by 'lived?"
"Oh, you haven't heard? She is moving to Fallenville."
Stephan was dumbfounded. Does that mean she would never willingly come to see him again? This was bad! He quickly thought of something to do and a brilliant idea penetrated his brain.
"Alejandro! Alejandro!" called Stephan.
"Seize this man and put him in the dungeon. He is an imposter!" yelled Stephan.
"What do you mean man? The both of us were just having a simple dialogue right now. What is with the bipolar attitude?" shouted Dr Connie as Alejandro lifted him onto his shoulder.
"Put me down right now you bulk of muscles!" said Dr Connie as he pounded on Alejandro's back but Alejandro did not even react like he was disturbed.
"Stop that you pesky fly!" yelled Alejandro and Dr Connie immediately stopped.
What sort of trap is this? And who are these men to casually seize him?
"Do you know who I am huh! I am a doctor, the famous Doctor Connie of Brooks Valley Hospital" said Dr Connie.
"Halt!" commanded Beta Stephan.
"So you and Dr Kate colleagues right?" asked Beta Stephan. "Yes we are!" answered Dr Connie meekly and Alejandro placed him down.
"Give her a call right now and tell her you are about to spend your last days in a cell!" said Stephan as he gave Dr Connie a creepy smile.
Dr Connie immediately punched his contacts and called up Kate.
"Hi Conn…" started Kate but she was caught off by Dr Connie's fearful voice.
"I have been mistaken as an imposter Kate. Please come and get me!" said Dr Connie in a tearful voice though he was not in tears…it was only a matter of time and he would cry though!
"Alright Connie, I'll be there now!" said Kate as she got her things together.
'What had happened?' she thought as she picked up her bag and headed for Red Moon Pack…the last place she wanted to be in.
