Aurora Richardson's face immediately stiffened as she looked at Joseph Thompson and Jaylene Ziel sitting across from her. She awkwardly began, "What a coincidence, you two are here too?"

The expression on Joseph Thompson's face was indifferent and distant. "We were just passing by in the car and thought to stop in for a drink. Miss Richardson, Mr. Campbell, did you also come up for a drink?"

"Ah, yes," Aurora responded awkwardly. As she lifted her head, she noticed Joseph Thompson was watching her swollen lips and the hickey on her neck, with a smirk.

She desperately tried to present herself as an angelic figure in front of Joseph Thompson and Jaylene Ziel. However, she didn't realize that her swollen lips, the hickeys dotting her neck, and the unspeakable look on her face all made her look like anything else but a damsel.
