บท 15: Chapter 15 : Queen bee has an army

Logan makes a swift departure, leaving me alone with Peyton and Bonnie. Michael and Casey have not returned from lunch yet so I am completely alone with the two of them

Peyton stands in my driveway, watching Logan drive away. I am too stunned to speak after their interaction. The callous way Peyton brought up his deceased wife makes me want to slap her for him. She had no right to expose his business like that.

I want to run after him but he looked so angry and my own curiosity is telling me that I might get more information staying here with Peyton and Bonnie. I’m not sure how to ask them though. Peyton seems like the type of person who would either not tell me anything or would tell me something that was exaggerated or flat-out incorrect. Bonnie seems chatty so she might share, and I don’t think she would lie to me.
