To ease her embarrassment, Lumma quickly shifted the topic to Adam's wife. "Mr. Hills, the dishes you made taste really good, and with your effort, I think Mrs. Hills will definitely like the food you cook."
"Hmm, as long as you like it," Adam smiled and said, "Can you teach me a new dish tomorrow?"
"Mr. Hills, if I didn't see you cooking tonight, I would have thought these two dishes were made by a professional chef. Your cooking skills are much better than mine, so I don't think I need to teach you," Lumma complimented him.
Adam was speechless.
It seemed like he was performing too well.
Shouldn't a beginner in the kitchen be more likely to blow something up than actually succeed?
He thought he could try it next time.
After dinner, Lumma was about to clean up when Adam stopped her again. "You've already helped me a lot. Rest for a bit, I'll clean up."
