Beth's POV
"The Witch's Book" I was pressing suddenly began to shake violently.
Its strength was so surprisingly great that I could hardly continue to press it.
After fully integrating with the hollow, its shell gave off a pale blue light and the book was burning brightly, but there was no scalding heat, yet I didn't feel any pain.
Quite contrarily, I even felt a breeze in my palm, so I gently removed my palm, and the book actually opened by itself.
The sound of paper turning quickly rang out, and soon,
stopped when the book stopped at a certain page.
I glanced at Aaron who nodded at me. Then I slowly crouched down, almost lying on my stomach as I read the words written on the page.
The yellowish page recorded many creatures I had never seen or heard of, including a monster.
I held my breath and examined the information for fear of missing any detail.
