"Ethan, you aren't thinking of doing...that to me now. I literally just came back from death's door—"

"Why should you worry about that?" Ethan scoffed, a mischievous smirk playing at the sides of his lips, "I'm the one who has to take you to heaven gates and bring you back. Want me to try it out?"

"Big no!" Shikera exclaimed. Feeling his grip loosen around her waist, she took the opportunity to slip out immediately, hurriedly climbing her bed. "I'll go to sleep now. Be the good husband that you are and go. Go take care of other things."
