Shikera was in her room, doing what she had been doing whenever she was bored this past few days. Reading books that centered on the best spots to travel to without friends and family.

She would look at her bank account balance every now and then, use her calculator thereafter, and then turn the pages of the books. She needed to check out all the options she had before choosing the cheapest of them all.

Suddenly feeling thirsty, Shikera threw her phone aside and rose up from the bed to walk of her room. She headed to the kitchen to pick out an orange juice bottle, which was becoming her favorite drink this days because it was cheap and healthy.

Skyler was not in the living room and Shikera presumed she was in her own room, so she didn't bother calling out to her to ask where she was. However, when Skyler came running out of her room the very next minute with worry written all over her face, Shikera knew she had to bother.
