Right from the day following the night when she drugged Shikera in the bar, Erica had been waiting for a reaction from Liam Anderson's side. After the next few days passed by without any notable disturbance to their hideout, she presumed that Liam Anderson was planning an ambush against them and that was why she wanted to act fast this night and trick Shikera to the bar. Who knew they would be this lucky and that Shikera would mistakenly let them know her father was not around? If he was, Erica knew Shikera would not be the one to check the CCTV.

She slipped her phone back into her back pocket before smiling,

"Let's take a rain check for today then. See you guys tomorrow!" She carried her bag and left with Jaden who didn't bother bidding them goodbye, given the fact that he was sure that would be the last day he saw them alive.

Shikera didn't bother with their abrupt leave, as she left for home immediately, while dropping Cyprian on the way.
