บท 112: A tense situation

Kate had finished bathing, looking neat and beautiful in a white and light blue denim outfit, carrying a small gray bag, and leaving her hair loose. She left the room and glanced at the mansion's quiet atmosphere, only to be surprised to find Roger on the living room sofa.

"You..." she stared at him awkwardly, remembering the last time they met when she had driven him away while dating Ryan.

"Charlie asked me to pick you up," Roger said with a flat gaze.

"Uh... Okay..." Kate nodded, feeling strange but unable to refuse Roger now.

Roger hurriedly left the mansion, followed by Kate, and then invited her into his black sports car parked in the yard. The man in the light blue and white outfit drove them out of the mansion area.
