One month later...
Since parting with Charlie, Angelica chose to focus on her mother and help her uncle manage the bar. However, it didn't guarantee her happiness as almost every night she seemed to dream of Charlie, ranging from sweet dreams to nightmares. Every day she couldn't help but think about him, worry about him.
She didn't understand what happened to him, as she hadn't seen him again despite him always saying he couldn't live without her.
"This is what I want, and if he's not thinking about me, not depressed because of this separation, I shouldn't be sad," she said while pouring a drink into a beautiful glass, placing it on a tray, and quickly delivering it to one of the customer's tables since the other waitress was in the restroom.
Angelica slowed her pace when she saw who ordered the drink.
"Darren," she whispered, looking at Darren, who smiled warmly at her.
"Hi... Angelica," greeted Darren.
Creation is hard, cheer me up!
