Robert intentionally kept the bar closed tonight due to Emma's worsening condition, and Maxime had indeed asked him to focus on watching over her until Angelica arrived. The man entered his elder sister's room but stopped near the door, gazing at her with pity.

"She'll come; you don't need to be sad anymore," he said.

Emma, sitting on her bed, glanced at Robert leaning against the door frame.

"I'm sad for a different reason," she said.

"What?" Robert walked closer. "Are you worried Louis will take her away?"

"Yeah, of course... Louis getting involved in her life means he's interested in bringing her into his world, giving her the best but also blending her with his wife. Then I'll be forgotten," Emma said with a sad expression.

"That won't happen..."

"How do you know?" Emma asked, looking at Robert sitting on the edge of the bed.
