บท 194: A Child's Tantrum

At the day's afternoon, the school ended with Ken and Jessica returning home together, while the little lady walked a step behind with Ken, with springs in her legs.

The entire day seemed silent when she was around Ken, who seemed to have started to abhor speaking. Though, he does respond if the words voiced needed an answer from him.

With a jovial mood, Jessica walked with her thumbs beneath her backpack's straps while watching Ken, who abruptly halted on his steps. A second of strange silence later, "Jess, you go home first" Ken said and walked away without even looking back at her.

Jessica stood dumbfounded for a few seconds before, "Hmph! Ken is a dummy!!" She huffed under her breath before walking away.

Walking to the sidewalk's end, Ken halted to take a turn into the darkened gap between the builds where trash bins and cans were mostly placed.
