บท 68: You Have No Right!

With Straka's pleading gaze on the goblin, the dozens of people gathered around turned back to him as well. 

Rizz pursed his lips and exhaled. Slowly… inhaling and exhaling. He tapped his foot on the ground and twiddled a finger through his tuft of red hair. The goblin's unwavering, pensive eyes stared down the injured elkkin. 

But that piercing gaze couldn't find any chinks in Straka's tenacity. 

"... I may be an elder of the elkkin, but I am not the chief. Nor do I speak for the others of my tribe."

Amidst the silence, a voice that everyone wanted to hear from finally spoke out. Barka stepped through the open doorway to stand at her son's side. She clung to her staff with one hand while being ready to catch Straka and offer her support. Her eyes were focused on her son, but her voice was loud enough for all to hear.
