People usually have family or friends to support them as they grow up. In stories, not so much. Orphaned heroes, neglectful parents and worlds with no grandparents are all staples of fiction.
As a participant of this challenge you are here to help remedy such situations.
Pick a character who would benefit from having a new supportive family member and some sort of family relation to have with them. You can also pick several characters if you desire.
Your goal is to honestly try to be a good parent/sibling for them. To raise them to be healthy functioning adult and support them when they need you the most.
Pick your method of insertion into the setting your chosen character lives. You can be inserted into an already established family member or a completely different person. Alternatively, you can also be dropped in a new body suited to your tastes with all the background and resources required to live there.
In the case you are inserted into an unrelated person or dropped into the setting, events will conspire to make you some sort of surrogate/honorary family member to the character.
Given that being a supportive family member is a dangerous role in many of these worlds, you will be given the tools needed for the job.
* A one-time body remodeling(within setting parameters), as well as mind and soul defenses. Your powers can't be stolen, copied or disabled. You're able to speak the local language and quickly learn others.
* You will more easily be able to connect with your chosen character. This doesn't mean they will obey you, just that it will be easier to curb their negative traits or teach them life lessons. You will understand each other more easily.
* 3 powers or CYOAs of your choice. At least one of these powers needs to have some synergy or similarities with the skills or powers of your chosen character. Hint: you may want to use this power to help them.
As a bonus:
* If you chose to be a parent, you'll find that single parents that match your preferences are much more attracted to you—this goes double for the other original parent of your chosen character.
Accomplishing your goal rewards you with a new power and the ability to freely travel the multiverse.
