With Butterfree and Beedrill being distracted and fighting each other, not caring what's in their way, Troy was setting up a plan.
As Kakuna was nearly done using the move to the max, he said, "Good job, Kakuna. Now I want you to build up momentum by using string shots on the branches and swinging from each branch to hit which one is still standing after their fight."
Butterfree finishing had just finished the fight with Beedrill killing it, while shouting its victory cry, hearing and seeing that Beedrill is dead with butterfree screeching, Troy had said, "Now Kakuna hit it butterfree with your body." Butterfree, hearing this, didn't know where to look until it was too late and Kakuna hit Butterfree with full force and was able to kill it from the damage it had sustained from fighting Beedrill.
Now that the battle was over and both Pokémon were dead, Troy had found his resources to make his Pokémon stronger.
Walking to the dead Pokémon Troy started to cut off his poisonous scales as well as his beedrill stingers. With these resources, Troy will be able to increase his poison-type Pokémon potential.
After getting the material off the dead alpha butterfree and beedrill, Kakuna started to evolve Troy, not wasting any time giving the poison scales for it to absorb to increase its potential. Fully absorbing all the poisonous scales, Troy had now fully evolved into Beedrill, checking its new stats. He had seen something new about his Pokémon potential.

Now that Kakuna had fully evolved into a beedrill, Troy could feel the happenings coming for the beedrill being able to fly, as well as noticing that the beedrill seemed to be 1.25 times bigger than a normal beedrill.
After Beedrill evolved, Troy returned it to the pokeball and went to the pokecenter.
At the pokecenter, Troy was getting his Pokémon healed and asked nurse Joy if she could check on Budew to see if anything was wrong with it.
Once Troy Pokémon was healed to full health, Troy had thought. "Man, I need to make more money or I'm going to go broke soon. Nurse Joy, hearing what Troy had said, had asked, "Have you tried using the Alliance app to look for jobs? You should be able to make a good amount of money by using it."
Troy, hearing this idea, thought, "It's about time I start using the app to do missions to get money as well as earn points to enter tournaments and fight gym leaders."
Getting the app up Troy started searching the app for any missions where he could get a good amount of money and points, seeing that only with about three requests could he earn enough points.
The missions that he can accept were only able to be F rank, as the rank above was locked until he had more points to his name. There had been two missions Troy could accept.
Them being. Capture any bug type—Pokémon with a silver tier or higher for a bigger prize—the amount being 120 points and 10k pokedollars.
Second, fight an F-tier trainer for practice, with the amount being 25 points.
