Sheila glanced at the number and was immediately stunned.
She wondered if she was seeing things. How could there be so many zeroes? Or did someone put a comma in the wrong place?
Kurapika's heart skipped a beat too. He didn't expect that this so-called "hush money" could actually set him up financially for life.

But then Germain spoke to him and Sheila, saying, "It's okay, go ahead and accept it."
"Ging isn't short on money, and with a substantial amount as startup capital, you two will have more freedom to choose what you want to do in the future."
Kurapika and Sheila exchanged glances, hesitating for a moment before nodding in agreement.
Since Germain had spoken, they decided to accept it.
Ging put away his phone, entered another series of numbers—this time much higher than before—and showed it to Shizuku.
"This is my payment for the 'second tier.'"
Shizuku tilted her head in confusion and pointed at Germain, then Bisky, and finally herself.
"Why are you showing me the 'second tier payment'? Germain, Bisky, and I are all part of the 'Stagecoach Group Founders.' I should be receiving the 'first tier payment.'"
Her confusion was genuine, not an act.
While gently patting Bisky's blonde hair as if she were a pet, Shizuku turned to Germain.
"That's odd. Why did he show me the 'second tier payment'? Did he make a mistake?"
Once again, Ging found himself momentarily speechless.
But being generous by nature, he quickly adapted, putting his phone away again before entering a third sequence of numbers—this time, an amount much larger than the previous two combined.
He displayed the new amount to Germain, Bisky, and Shizuku.
"This is my 'first tier payment' to you all."
Shizuku took the phone, examining it alongside Germain and Bisky, finally nodding in satisfaction.
Meanwhile, Bisky tried her best to cover her mouth, stifling her laughter.
The wealth she had accumulated over the decades was enormous, though much of it was in priceless "gems" she would never sell. Still, who wouldn't want more in their treasury?
She was certainly all for it.
Bisky stifled her chuckles and coughed a few times to regain her composure.
"Ahem, ahem… Ging, you just mentioned 'firstly,' so is there a 'secondly' and 'finally'?"
At that moment, Germain saw the essence of a greedy sprite in Bisky's demeanor—the pointed ears and sly grin.
He wasn't surprised; after all, this was Bisky's true nature.
Ging didn't hold back. After retrieving his phone from Shizuku, he continued.
"Secondly… have you heard of the game *Greed Island*? It's a game my companions and I developed. I'm willing to share part of my stake with the three of you."
Neither Shizuku, Kurapika, nor Sheila understood the true value of *Greed Island.* Shizuku simply didn't care, while the other two had yet to encounter it through resources like the *Professional Hunter Website.*
But Germain and Bisky knew its worth.

Ging's tone remained calm, showing no sign of regret.

"In short, when we developed the game, we created a company for it, and I hold the most shares. Now, I'm willing to transfer some shares to the three of you."
"This way, you'll not only earn dividends but also gain some decision-making power to influence the company and the operations surrounding *Greed Island*."
Ging paused, still not finished.
"And finally, I'll cover most of the expenses needed for the *Dark Continent Exploration.*"
"These three points represent my utmost sincerity in exchange for the position of 'Number Two.' If you have any thoughts or suggestions, we can discuss them."
At this, Bisky couldn't hold back any longer and turned to Germain.
"Germain, I have no objections… With him making such an offer, I'd feel embarrassed to refuse. Let him be the 'Number Two.' Anyway, I don't care about such titles."
Secretly, she thought, *The most important thing is that you all listen to me anyway. If Ging insists on having this honorary position, let him take it.*
Ging smiled, then turned to Germain and held out his hand.
"Shall we cooperate?"
Germain thought it over briefly before shaking hands with Ging, signaling a preliminary agreement.
