He grinned cheekily. "I was ready to murder your husband, you know…"

"My husband…?" Tuzi repeated the words numbly. "Do you mean my silly worm, Feng…?"

"The one and only," Taiga confirmed with an exasperated sigh. 

The silly rabbit shifter wanted to ask how that was even possible! Feng is Taiga's previous incarnation. Even if he had no memory of his previous life, it was still the same soul. 

They are one and the same! 

Though Tuzi appeared perplexed by this, she nonetheless wanted to hear Taiga's explanation.

He said I bear a striking resemblance to him. But at that time, it didn't matter to me.
