The wolf girl's inquiry halted both Taiga and Bayar, who were fervently eating their noodles a moment before. Given the events that had unfolded just the day prior, it was quite the loaded question to ask.

Taiga swallowed the bite of noodles that was in his mouth before responding, "I have not… If I can be honest with you– Last night was a sleepless one. Alpha Tuzi was quite upset yesterday. Our actions have been careless, which I sincerely apologize for. I am trying to figure out how I may approach her again…"

Nodding her head in agreement, Oyuna grumbled in disapproval, "Careless is an understatement… But go ahead, continue…"

Rather than feel embarrassed by the she-wolf's candid nature, Taiga felt comforted by her honest answer. It was like conversing with an old friend. "I believe that our actions may have inadvertently caused a wide rift between our two tribes. It may have eroded the trust between us."
