“No good reason. I’m just curious…” he replied casually.

“Curious? You’re curious about what exactly?” I asked with widened eyes.

Bradon stared at me with an unreadable expression for a few seconds before he let out a small chuckle as if an entertaining thought had just crossed his mind. Of course, I had no idea what he was thinking about or recalling.

“I’m just curious to know what kind of woman I had the misfortune to marry,” he replied with a mischievous twinkle in his blue eyes.

I always thought that his eyes were a very attractive color, but nothing could compare to their beauty when there were actual emotions reflected in them.

“You mean, what kind of woman had the misfortune to marry you, right?” I corrected him immediately before I remembered to hold my tongue.

“I take it that you’ve already agreed to my condition,” Bradon said before he smiled meaningfully at me.

Right, that was probably a very Dahlia thing to say.
