People couldn't escape their origins.

No matter how hard we tried, we would never be able to get rid of the real selves that our original families had made us become.

When Marilyn graduated from university, due to her excellent performance in the speech competition, she was hired by a company that had made many popular entertainments and became the best among the new graduates.

Everything went well between Marilyn and Damian. It was said that Marilyn had moved to Damian's downtown apartment.

Marilyn often posted the details of her life on social media. She showed off her excellent boyfriend, decent job, and wonderful life.

But all those things should have belonged to me.

I got my graduation certificate, which was not a smooth process. I didn't dare to go home to face my parents, so I casually found a low-paid job and rented an apartment in the suburb.

However, I didn't feel tired. Instead, I was full of expectations for what would happen soon.
