Weeks came and pass since Alex first began being tutored by Min-Ji and his grades had rebounded quite significantly. He had gone from a C average with Ds in Mathematics and Science courses to a straight-A student.

And just before he knew it, the midterms had arrived for his first semester at university. Alex had spent his days studying and recovering from his wound. While also performing part time duties as a security guard for Hee-Young and Mimi.

If you had asked Alex how he thought, he would fare on his midterms three weeks ago. He would have told you that he was confident of getting Cs at best.
