After an hour of waiting patiently with their hearts in their chest, beating wildly with every second that passed without knowing anything about Giovanni's condition. 

Luckily, Diego had managed to get Amrita to stop crying for the moment, but she hasn't said to Edward, her husband, who managed to get the detectives to come another time since right now wasn't the perfect moment.

Clearly that another time would not, ever come after showing grandfather the text he got, Edward, realized that this wasn't something the cop would like to involve themselves in, because things would get rocky from this start onwards.

Until finally, the wait was over and they stood up the moment the door to the ER opened ànd the doctor walked out.

"Family of the patient?" He asked, trying to make sure that they were really Giovanni's family, which was a stupid question, since a look from Amrita would make anyone see the resemblance between her and the patient he treated.
