บท 4: Party
At 7:00 PM, Travis is currently sitting in his living room playing some games on his console. Today was very boring, especially since he now only finds it fun in advancing with Gloria. Well, he wouldn't have to wait any longer since she's about to come to his house and make some food for him. He now needed another strategy.
He didn't feel like helping her cook; instead, he wanted to have a casual conversation with her while she did her thing. At the moment, he has no topic planned, but he's pretty sure that he'll get one when needed.
He then heard the gate opening outside. Travis paused the game and hurriedly jogged to the door. He unlocked the door and opened it for her. Seeing Gloria, Travis smiled. But when he saw the sadness on her face, his expression changed into one filled with concern. He wondered what had happened. Last he checked, she had no problems back in his first life. Then suddenly, he remembered.
"I almost forgot that her children are basically trash. Wow, so how do I fix this without making anything bad?" He wondered to himself.
"Gloria, are you okay?" he asked. She looked up at his face, seeing the look of concern, which made her feel a bit of warmth. A smile crept on her face as she said, "Yes, I'm good. Let's hurry up with your food." She walked past him and went to the kitchen, putting on her apron after washing her hands. Travis followed her into the kitchen and stood close enough to see her facial expression as she turned back from him.
"I don't think you are good, Gloria, but if you say you are, I won't ask anymore," he said.
He understands that at the moment, she sees him as a son and also a bit of a friend. So if he pestered her with questions, it wouldn't end well due to their unfamiliarity. That's why he decided to let the topic slide.
"Travis is such a kind boy, unlike those kids of mine. Let me get my act up because I don't want to worry him," she thought. A determined smile appeared on her face. Gloria cleared her throat and turned back to him.
Smiling happily, she said, "Let's talk about something else. What were you doing today?"
"At least she understands what I was implying. Some people would've thought I didn't care," he thought.
"I did some of my homework. Then I exercised, which had me feeling refreshed for the most part," he replied.
"Wow, that's why you're always so fit. I mean, look at you. I'm sure you'd make many girls your age, or even maybe older, find you attractive," she said.
"You think? I haven't really put much thought into any girls. Maybe I should try it," he said.
"What? Are you into the same gender?"
"No, I'm not. What I mean is, I've never thought about dating anyone," he said with a frown.
"Oh, good. Well, I'd say you should try. Also, never put her over you unless you want to kill yourself, of course," she said.
"Don't worry. I sort of understand now the do's and don'ts about dating."
"Well, I hope you find a good girl that's going to understand you. Alright, let me cook before it gets late," she said.
<In a house party>
Many teenagers can be seen inside the house doing many activities that one wouldn't expect a teenager to be doing, well back in the day that is, but in this era, all these things have been normalized. Caroline is sitting with a guy upstairs, the same dude she left with during the afternoon. His name is Felix, and he's an upperclassman in their school. Felix has been known for his way with many girls in school; he's often seen with various girls daily. Some say he's allergic to being loyal.
Which is why he goes around banging any girl he finds interesting. Felix is very rich, more accurately, his parents are. Both his mom and dad have a net worth of over hundreds of billions. This house isn't even where he lives; it's just a random house he had bought this morning for the party.
This was one of the reasons why girls liked him. The other reason was his third leg. Some girls say Felix's dick is like those you see in adult films. He, of course, takes a lot of pride in this. Normally, you'd expect a guy like him to have a small dragon, but he was somehow born with a big one. How lucky he is. At the moment, Felix is flirting hard with Caroline. Let's see where this goes.

"I'm happy you wore the clothes I got you. I think you look very hot," he said, raising his vape and taking a long whiff of it.
"You think? Well, it's all thanks to you that I got these. I like them very much," she said with a smile. Felix stared down at her large cleavage with lustful eyes. He exhaled the smoke into the air and smirked as he put his arm around her shoulder.
"How about we do something while we're alone?" he said as he got closer to her. Caroline froze instantly; she turned to him and smiled awkwardly.
"Huh, what do you mean?" she asked.
"Come on, you know. Let's get it on like rabbits. Oh, are you a virgin? Don't worry, I'll be gentle," he said, staring deep into her yellow eyes.
'I should've known that it was a bad idea coming up here with him. Why did I freakin' believe that he wouldn't do that?' she thought in regret.
"I don't think I'm really ready for that, so how about no?" she said with an unsettled smile. Felix smirked, getting up from the couch, he went towards the door and locked it shut. She was instantly terrified by this. Looking at him with widened eyes, Caroline got up from the couch and looked for a way to exit. Seeing nothing, she slowly backed away.
"Come on, Caroline. You know that I love you. Why can't I show you my love? Is it wrong for me to show you love? I'm pretty sure it isn't wrong. I think you're wrong for not wanting to accept my love. So why don't we just agree to show each other love?"
What a dumb way to gaslight someone, but somehow these words were working on poor old Caroline.
As he got closer, she was soon stopped by the wall. Staring at him as he walked towards her with his purple hair and bright purple eyes, he had two cross earrings on, with diamonds embedded on the front of the hook. He was undoubtedly handsome, yet this handsome devil was extremely manipulative. He soon reached her, putting his hand on her face, Felix slowly whispered, "So why don't we just make love?" As these words were uttered, the loud sound of gunshots was fired downstairs.
Screams filled the bottom floor, and raging footsteps.
