บท 56: I am fucking free!

After I dropped the keys off at Earl's, I went to a cheap hotel nearby and got some shut-eye. Earl was worried when I showed up close to midnight looking like shit. The man almost forced me to sleep on his couch. But as Earl already had two daughters of age, I thought it was inappropriate. 

When morning came, my body woke up exactly at 6:00 AM. This was half an hour later than when I usually woke up. Why did I need to get up again? 

"Ugh, shit, I'm going to be late for work. I don't want to go." 

The drowsiness in my eyes wouldn't go away as I got up half-asleep. 

Monday mornings were the worst part of my life. 

I had to endure monotonous paperwork and thankless slavery. Not to mention, I had to navigate a den of backstabbers, attention-starved whores, and credit-hungry bosses. 

"Wait! Why did I need to do that again?"
