"Yue'er, why are you in prison?" the man stroked her face with distress, his eyes clouding over at the sight of the Witchcraft clan's inscription spell on her face.

"A'Yu, you're here. Are you injured somewhere?" Shenlian Yingyue looked at him with concern.

"I'm not, Yue'er," he replied. "But what's going on? Aren't you supposed to come to this place to join the royal wedding?" Diyu's dreamy-colored eyes narrowed slightly as he spoke.

Shenlian Yingyue hesitated to tell him the truth, not wanting him to fight with the Demon Emperor and risk injury.
