บท 28: The Flame Empress
The strongest among the 8 made his first move. He suddenly with the motive to surprise Alicia, slashed his sword. He did not want to waste time playing around and employed a battle technique from the very start.
Followed by the boy's sword slash countless shreds of earth elements in various shape moved towards Alicia.
Meanwhile the remaining 7 also did not remain idle and they also got in action. Everyone of the 7 launched a battle technique in her direction. One fire element user among them launched a massive fireball abover her head.
Every path for Alicia to dodge was blocked. She appeared to be trapped in a cage surrounded by attacks of almost every element. It was someone else other than her, then let alone come out unscathed from the attacks even remaining alive would have been difficult.
But she was not someone else. She was Alicia. She had a relaxed expression on ber face and maybe slight amusement in her eyes.
She let out a smile and next moment a massive fire shaped dome erupted with her body as centre.
All the attacks of the 8 students no matter the element was devoured. It appeared as if the fire dome burned everything that came in its way.
Even the giant fireball which was coming from above appeared to have been consumed by the fire dim.
The temperature coming from the dome was extremely high and this attack or defense of Alicia pit everyone in shock including Amden.
Although such attacks for people who were already at the pinnacle was nothing but from someone of age of Alicia was a shocking feat.
The surprise in the attack was that Alicia had not employed any kind of battle technique in the attack. It was her pure control oved the fire attributed mana.
Without even moving a muscle she had let her fire devour all the attacks. This kind of mana control at that age was truly truly remarkable and astonishing.
After consuming every attack in its way, the dome vanished to reveal an unscathed Alicia. She stood at the same spot with the same smile on her face.
Her opponents though started to feel slight fea from Alicia, they got themselves preparing for the next round of attacks. But Alicia was not going to give them any more chances.
She spread open her hands and wings made of fire element around appeared around her back.
The wing then flapped once and she rose in air. A floating type of battle technique. These kinds of technique were really rare.
As she floated in the air 8 massive fireball covering the entire stage 5 appeared above her head.
At the moment with fire wings on her back and 8 massive fireballs buring at extreme temperature ready to be launched at her command gave everyone the feeling that as if she is The Flame Empress herself.
"Surrender or die," her bone chiiling voice reverberated in the entire arena.
Hearing her declaration the 8 students trembled to their core. They had no doubts in their minds that Alicia would not do as she announced.
They knew there was no way possible that they could take that fireball head on.
The 7 F Ranked jumped immediately from the stage. The E Rank one stared at the fireball for few moments and finally gritted his teeth and jumped too.
Alicia's expression remained indifferent as it was. She calmly landed on the stage to wait for things to end.
When she landed almost all the matched had already ended or was in the last moments.
Few Moments earlier:
On stage 4, six students were left and Tim Clove was among them.
Although he had displayed good strength till now he had not performed such exceptionally to stand out from everyone.
Among these six remaining students, 3 were in E Rank including Tim.
When all the other 5 were contemplating whom to attack Tim leaped into air and reached another side of the stage.
The neutral expression he was carrying till now was replaced by an arrogant smirk as he said, "All of you come together, I already have wasted enough time."
Tim had been holding back. Even the Clove family including his parents were not fully aware of his true powers.
In the magical forest he could have easily taken over Leo but he restrained himself.
For Lucas and Luna he just attributed them to be lucky in finding weaker magical beast.
Although he didn't reveal his true powers, he was arrogant to the bone and believed no one to be more talented than him.
All the remaining 5 students squinted their eyes.
One of them said in an angry tone, "Tim Clove, you have getten real cocky. Looks like your brain have stopped working."
The boy who spoke was Alan Parker. He was the son of the leader of the Red Moon Organization, a faction no less powerful than the Cloves.
Tim, meanwhile laughed disdainfully in response.
