บท 5: The Black Cube
Amden was alone in his room lying on the bed. In his mind he was revisiting the events which had happened during the awakening ceremony.
The most important and interesting event was something which only Amden knew and happened in his mind.
During the awakening he had received a sudden influx of memories. Those memories consisted different cultivation methods, battle techniques, alchemy refining method, rune formation methods along with their experiences. Those were the memories of a ancient god.
However currently he didn't had the access to all the memories because of his lower soul power. Slowly he would continue to absorb the memories as his soul power rises.
Although Amden was not clear on many things he deduced a fact that this particular person who was referred to as an Ancient god was someone who stood at the apex of the universe in his time.
Along with these memories came few visions which made a few things clear to him.
The first notable thing was that a black colored cube was floating in his consciousness. Before awakening he didn't had access to his consciousness so he was unable to detect its presence. But now he felt the connection he had with the cube.
With a thought the cube was summoned in his hands. Amden then started to try all the methods he could to understand what the cube was or to get any reaction from it. But he failed. The cube remained as it was.
The vision about how the cube was linked to his consciousness was in his mind. Although he was not sure whether the vision came from the ancient god or the cube.
Inside his vision the cube was floating in a completely chaotic space. The different elements in the space were out of control. The space had almost crumbled inside the space. It appeared that death and destruction had danced in the space. At one time inside this forbidden zone of the universe reached an old man. Although the face of the man was not clear Amden assuemd that he was probably the Ancient god.
The old man was extremely delighted on seeing the cube. In his mind this cube was one of the most powerful treasures of the universe. But even before he could touch the cube, his entire body crumbled into dust and his soul was sucked into the cube. The cube then floated and left the space and wandered in the universe aimlessly.
The soul of the ancient god inside the cube was conscious of his situation. After numerous years he came to a conclusion that he can take over someone's else body and get a new life. By this method he would also get control over the cube. The ancient god thought that losing all powers and going through a rebirth was all worth for the cube which obliterated him without giving time to react. But to his disappointment his soul and the cube were not compatible to any human body he came across. He searched for someone compatible for million of years.
One day the cube floated out of the soul's control to a newly born baby. The ancient god was delighted finding that he was compatible with this baby. The baby was none other than Amden.
In moment the god started to take control over baby's body and absorb his soul but to his horror as soon as he tried to absorb the baby's soul the cube acted on its own. The cube forcefully sealed the soul of the ancient god into Amden's consciousness and even before the ancient god could understand anything his consciousness was vanquished by the cube. This made Amden absorb the memories easily without any retaliation or backlash.
The other notable fact he now got to know was about his Physique and Bloodline. The Hellish Immortal Physique and Ancient Primordial Bloodline along with the Universe Origin Scripture were provided to him by the cube.
But what disturbed Amden was the fact that no matter what method he trie, he couldn't sense anything from the cube.
Amden was sure the cube was a powerful artifact but the question was why would it choose him?
He then let it go and the cube disappeared and returned to Amden's soul.
Although Amden received a lot of answers and some of his previous doubts were cleared but now more new questions had risen.
Amden stopped thinking and lied on his mind mindlessly. Since he was tired and was in stress he quickly fell asleep.
Amden opened his eyes after few hours and found Cilia staring at him from a very close distance.
Amden then suddenly reached out his hands and then grabbed Cilia's neck and pulled her closer and indulged in deep kiss.
She was surprised at first then suddenly reacted and tried to shriek but her lips were sealed.
At first she protested but then she also lost control and then started to suck Amdem's lips. After few moments both of them separated.
Cilia was blushing so hard that her face was as red as tomato.
She screamed, "Young master you bullied me" and ran away.
Amden was just laughed at the situation. He knew that Cilia was madly in love with him. Amden was clear on how much Cilia loved him and without any doubt he also loved her as she loved him.
Amden now needed to plan his things. He needed to practice different types of techniques.
Dramon and Rexon were sword specialists. Dramon was also titled as the Sword Emperor. Amden like them could have also practiced sword. The Vantistarts had very powerful grade of sword manual but after receiving the memories of the ancient god he now had access to even better sword techniques.
Amden on that day continued to plan his training methods and what path should he choose.
He also continued to learn more about his Universe Origin Scripture. The Scripture was perfect for him who had awakened all his elements.
Amden was even more sure that the cube was definitely a great treasure.
What made him a bit bewildered that although in the memories of the ancient god there were almost infinite number of Physiques and Bloodlines there was nothing about his Hellish Immortal Physique and Ancient Primordial Bloodline. Amden wondered if only the cube had the capacity to impart such Bloodline and the Physique.
For know Amden decided to keep things aside and to focus on to increase his strength.
