As Lucas stepped out of the hospital room, he bumped into a frantic Sam. In the moment their eyes met, Lucas's eyes were instantly filled with towering hatred, which also abruptly suppressed the trace of goodwill that had risen towards Eileen just moments ago. He glared coldly at Sam, deliberately bumping his shoulder and sending him aside before marching off in anger.

Sam looked at Lucas's departing figure, his eyes equally filled with hatred. He hadn't expected Lucas to seek out Eileen again after so many years. He couldn't understand Lucas's thoughts, it was he who Lucas despised, yet he chose to take his revenge on Eileen, a contradiction indeed. But no matter what Lucas was thinking, from now on, he wouldn't let Lucas bully Eileen as he had in the past!

Sam turned his attention back to the hospital room. Upon seeing Eileen's injuries, the rage in his eyes disappeared, replaced by heartache. "Eileen, how are you?"
