บท 13: The Continent of Hyrule

After the Master Sword disappeared, there was a rumbling between heaven and earth. A divine dragon pierced through the clouds from afar, rushing upwards. The thick clouds behind it gradually dispersed, revealing the vast land below.

"Link... Link... come and find me!"

"That's... Zelda's voice."

Leonard stood at the edge of the altar, his gaze profound as if he could see through the dense clouds to the towns below. Leonard leapt with a shout, "Zelda, Zelda! No matter where you are, I will find you!" ... With a "Bang!", a resounding sound piercing the sky announced Leonard's official landing on the continent of Hyrule.

This time, he didn't have a hard landing; he landed in a deep pool. After swimming a few meters to the shore, what came into view was a vast grassland. Leonard climbed up a grass-covered hill and gazed into the distance. This was the famous Hyrule.

This land was vast. In the previous game "Breath of the Wild," I didn't fully appreciate the charm of Hyrule. This time, I must make up for the regret.

Leonard walked on the green grassland under the bright sun, looking up at the clear blue sky, which swept away the gloom just now. He wrung out his clothes, gathered his energy, and walked slowly.

There were quite a few creatures on the grassland, a fox was foraging in the grass. These animals are not friendly, and it ran away when it saw Leonard from afar.

Leonard went to a slightly higher hill, looked up, and saw a large bird flying over his head. He remembered his previous idea of shooting birds, immediately raised his hand, pulled the bow and arrow, stabbed a bat's eye into the arrowhead, and shot it out with a swish. As expected, the wooden arrow accurately homed in on its target and quickly chased after the bird. The bird was shot through the heart, fell vertically from the sky, and was dead on the ground.

Leonard quickly rolled down the hill and ran about 50 meters before seeing a dark thing on the ground. He had been curious about what treasures he would get if he shot down a bird. Upon picking it up, he found it to be a piece of high-quality poultry. A divine thought appeared, explaining, "This is a piece of high-quality meat that can occasionally be collected from birds. It can be eaten as it is. But if used for cooking, it will have a stronger healing effect."

Leonard admitted that his previous expectations were too high, causing a slight disappointment. This meat didn't seem to be of much use, but it was very satisfying to auto-track and shoot birds. He wondered if he could do the same with dragons. He hadn't seen any large birds in this world so far, so the only possibility he could think of was the divine dragon.

While he was thinking and walking, a Bokoblin on the side of the road noticed Leonard. At first, Leonard was daydreaming and didn't want to bother with it. But this big guy was very aggressive and swung its club at Leonard. Leonard was hit and lost half of his health. If this continued, Leonard would have to go back to heaven. He had just arrived in Hyrule and hadn't established a base yet. So, Leonard felt a strong urge to kill and charged forward with his trademark stone double-handed sword and smashed it. Just as his weapon shattered into pieces, the Bokoblin was also killed.

After a puff of smoke, he collected a horn and a tooth from the Bokoblin. Both items seemed to be ingredients for making potions, but they were not immediately needed.

He traveled a little further and reached a place littered with wheels, planks, and other materials. Leonard glanced at the notice board. It turned out this was a depot for construction materials used for rebuilding structures. The owners kindly noted, "Feel free to take what you need. If you want a private residence, please discuss in detail at the Sunda Construction Shop!" Everyone would love a house of their own, he thought it necessary to visit this Sunda Construction point, but not now! Now he needs to find a place to settle first, otherwise he will have to spend the night outdoors... Leonard figured he was still some distance from the targeted town, so why not use these materials to build a cart - wouldn't traveling by cart be wonderful?

No sooner said than done, he started by bonding two wheels and an axle with the ultimate hand - making two such components, then he placed planks on top, and finally put on a fan engine. Leonard spent half an hour crafting an "indescribable" cart. Why did it take so long? Because the wheels would move around chaotically once they were made; secondly, the step of placing the planks was challenging, the two planks never ended up being even. As a result, Leonard created a cart with an internal hierarchy. Regardless, it was a cart. But when he started it, the fan started blowing and the cart didn't move an inch.

Leonard: "Hmm?"

Perhaps the planks were stuck to the wheels, or perhaps the uneven terrain without paved roads was causing it to stall... Whatever the reason, the cart was a failure. A car that doesn't move forward is a failure by any measure. At this time, the sky began to darken, and Leonard reluctantly abandoned his first self-made car in his life and headed towards a nearby town.

The night prairies are a paradise for animals, but not so friendly to humans. Even a bit creepy, Leonard wanted to find a temple to stay overnight as soon as possible.

As he continued to walk, the red aura around him became increasingly dense. Leonard dared not delay and continued to march forward. Soon, the bloody aura around him became substantial. Leonard abruptly looked up, and there was a red moon hanging in the sky - as red as blood.

Somewhere unknown, Zelda, like Leonard, saw the spectacle in the sky and muttered: "The moon... The moon dyed red..."

"The souls of the monsters will regain their bodies and resurrect... Chaos... will once again engulf this land..."

At this moment, Leonard happened to walk into the ruins of a ranch, and he wondered whether he should stay here overnight and make do. Damn it, a blood moon phenomenon appeared tonight, my luck is too bad.

Yes, his luck was really rotten.

Before he could finish his internal struggle, a scale monster hanging upside down from the top of the cave swung its stone hammer hard on Leonard's head. Leonard lost three-quarters of his health in one go, but he became significantly sober. He quickly ran out, preferring to stay in the open air. Who would have thought that this cave would be even more dangerous than the wilderness.

He left the cave, turned right into the ruins of Mabe Village. Here there were plenty of dilapidated walls, perfect for playing hide and seek with the monsters. Leonard moved forward stealthily, picked a red Hylian mushroom and chewed it a few times before swallowing. The wild taste was tender and juicy, and it also restored half a heart's worth of health, which was quite good.

A few steps later, there was a rusty spear and a sword leaning against the wall. Leonard picked up the rusty spear first, then used the leftovers to make and attach the latter, forming a rather cool-looking rusty spear-sword. He gathered his strength for a while, 'Ha! Ha! Cha!' rushed forward and stabbed a few times, and found the spear-sword quite easy to handle.

Just as he was about to leave the ruins, a medium-sized Bokoblin sprang out, it seemed to want Leonard to pay a toll to pass. Unfortunately for it, Leonard used his rusty spear-sword, and the Bokoblin was constantly pushed back, unable to get close to him. Having a strong body was useless if it couldn't be utilized. After Leonard carelessly stabbed a few times, it turned into a puff of smoke and disappeared.

After a long journey, Leonard finally reached the town he saw from the sky. Importantly, there were people in this town. Come to think of it, Leonard hadn't seen normal humans for a long time, the ones in the sky were either magical statues or gods.

Before he reached the gate, the guards were already agitated: "Could it... could it... um...?"

"Mr. Link, it's you, isn't it!? Where have you been all this time!?" A gatekeeper named Mozon shouted out loud.
