บท 193: Skills of the Ultimate Gambler (5)
I should point out this is before Yumeko has transferred to the Academy where the story of the first season of Kakegurui takes place as she doesn't transfer to the school until a month after school starts where it has only been a week since the start of the school year beginning.

Celestia was just smiling while Kaede was grinding his teeth as he knew she was cheating, at least he was almost certain that she was as someone isn't this lucky with every dice roll as unless she says what it will be she doesn't know whether the call will be high or low until after the cups have been put down.
"I think your making the wrong call four eyes, I've only been here for the last three rounds but I have yet to see how she is supposedly cheating in your eyes." Runa said after taking out her sucker and pointing it at him.
This caused his eyes to twitch before he composed himself, "There has to be something your doing to the dice as you shake it within the cup in order for all of your dice to end up as winners every single time." He said but Celestia just kept her same smile as ever.
"Then how about we make one final bet with everything on the line? I now have 250 million and so do you, so this will be the final match and one where I will personally handicap myself for you." She says as she places the dice back into the cup and begins to shake it while explaining as everyone in the student council watched her hands intently before placing her cup down and covered.
"Instead of high or low this final match can only be won on a three of a kind, I have rolled my dice and I shall not roll them again, on the other hand I give you exactly 5 chances to roll three of a kind, and if the first through fourth are failures then we shall reveal our cups after you shake it for the fifth and final time and have that be the final result that will decide the match, of course you can choose to stop if you get a three of a kind in any of your first four try's, but if you don't like your outcome you can reroll once again, if you want to take that risk." She said as she placed her final deal.
Now to everyone watching they became even more interested in this match, well all except for Midari Ikishima as she 'felt' something peculiar and left after the first round started.
"Fine then, I want to see your confidence as a so called Ultimate Gambler break after I beat you." He says with an air of confidence but the Smile never left Celestia's face.
As in her eyes all she sees is an overconfident clown who hasn't realized that his chance at victory is less than .00046% compared to what she already knows what she has under her cup.

Back in the traditional culture club, Yuriko was sweating, her body was shaking and she was beginning to feel sick after what has happened that lead up to now.
*A bit earlier*
"I think your lying." After agonizing over it she finally made her decision to which I raised an eyebrow.
"I'm lying? Alright then let's see." I said before we both revealed our cups.
Her lip twitched a bit when there was in fact three 3's altogether from our combined total of dice and thus I was telling the truth.
Losing the round she had to give up one of her dice making me have the lead before we put our dice right back into our cups and started the next round as we shook them before putting them down and looking at our new numbers.

'Well this is good and bad, but it all depends on how she reacts.' I think to myself after seeing my dice.
Having multiple of one number is useful while you bet on that number but because you have a lack of others then you have a harder time telling if your opponent is bluffing or telling the truth about all the other numbers that they might have.
"One 3." She started as the loser of the previous round gets to make the first call in a match.
"One 6." I said in return as I noticed her face get ever so slightly tense making me smirk internally.
'So she doesn't have any multiples of numbers in her cup huh?' It has become painfully obvious to me that she was never really a gambler and used her cheating game to stack the odds almost always in her favor and where she is out of her depth she can't keep up her calm facade, not to mention to her 3 billion yen is on the line which would be a lot for me as well if I never had the system to invalidate the loss of so much money.
"Two 5's" I say as she gets visibly even more nervous as this round continues on.
Thing is with Liars dice is that it is 'at least' that many dice that have that number on the field, so if she called me out for being a liar she would lose as there are at least two 5's on the field, it's when the numbers get too high that the other could be bullshitting the others in a game as a result.
"Two 6's" she decides to place her guess which makes me look at my dice once more as I think about my choice.
Now I could easily cheat with my plethora of skills and powers but that removes the fun in gambling if I know I'll always win, unless of course I was desperate for cash, which I'm not, so I was actually playing this legitimately.
"Three 5's" I placed my guess as I could see Kumagusu to our side do nothing but bite her thumb as she anxiously watched the match.
Now the look on Yuriko's face showed she was conflicted to call me out or place her bet, "You are really a poor excuse for a gambler you know that? I'm not even a professional gambler and I feel like me playing with a blatant cheater that can't even handle playing a legitimate game is just depressing to see." Which instantly irritated them both as I mocked them.
"Hey! It's one thing for calling us out as cheaters at our own game, but don't mock the effort Yuriko put in to make this game possible! Not only that but that cheat doesn't work 100% of the time in the first place since I can't even see the blades to begin with!" She says trying to defend her leader who was just biting her lip in frustration from everything I said.
"Hmm? Did you say something? Because it sounds like the fly still buzzing that I caught in my web, now would you keep your mouth shut? We are trying to play a game, now then, are you going to make your call or what?" I said just waving my hand in the direction of Kumagusu as I'm waiting for Yuriko to continue.
Kumagusu was about flip her lid, but Yuriko just held up her hand to shut her up as she looked at me, "Three 6's" she decided to place her guess.
"Ha, now I think your lying." I said as I called her out to which I pulled off my cup and watched the color drain from her face as she saw my dice before she slowly took hers off.
"Oh, looks like you were lying, welp your down two dice now, do you want to keep going or do you want to forfeit now and just give me my money?" I said as I watched her face become progressively more and more pale by the second as she kept dripping sweat off her face as she could barely keep herself together.
I grab my dice as I toss them up and down, "So? What will it be?"

Back in the student council room Kaede's hair was progressively getting paler and paler with each failure of his rolls.
Celestia had given him 5 chances to roll his dice to get a three of a kind and his first four rolls all ended up as nothing at all.
Not a single one was a three of a kind and 250 million yeah was riding on his last and final roll while Celestia has just been smiling at him…. Menacingly…. For the entire duration of the final match.
And not once has she touched her cup from the moment she placed it down and made the new parameters for this final round between them both.
There was only a 0.28% chance someone would hit even one three of a kind in this match and with all his try's together it's only a little bit over a 1% chance he would hit a three of a kind at all.
So nervously he shook his cup with all of his might praying to Buddha to bless his roll before putting it down.
"Well Kaede, this is it, let's see if you win or lose with this roll." Celestia said as she finally placed her hand on her cup while keeping the same polite smile that looked more like the smile of the devil in Kaede's eyes.
Gritting his teeth he lifted up his cup as his eyes widened as all the color came back to his face as his hair went back to its original black color from the graying in this game as he smiled.
"Hahahaha! I did it! I was able to get a three of a kind! How about that then!" He said all smug like as he got a three of a kind with threes which is the middle ground for three of a kinds for this dice game.
Seeing that Celestia was genuinely surprised, "Wow, I can't believe that you were able to get a three of a kind at your final roll, congratulations on be able to get a three of a kind." She said politely which Kaede felt smug about while the others were confused as to why Celestia was acting so calm about this, all except for Kirari who already knew what the outcome would be if he couldn't get the best possible roll of the dice to begin with, which he hasn't as threes isn't the best three of a kind, because that is….
"Though you did try your hardest, I hate to say…." She says as she slowly lifts up the cup as to Kaede's shock and horror he see what's really underneath her cup.
Three 6's
"…. The game was rigged from the start."
