Slowly as the time trickled in till the final minute our given 30 minutes to rest before our host's achievements would get shown through the device on our necks.
The device on our necks is something created to keep track of hosts strength, achievements and impact upon the world.
And so immediately after the 30th minute hit portals appeared before our desks and dull looking crystals shot out towards our hands and stayed there and looking at my own I found that it was worn out and almost about to break.
' Mmmm good, I can use some items to rejuvenate the system but it would be a waste of time' I thought before a screen appeared Infront of my eyes.

'no' i thought as looking around myself most students seemed to have chosen the same decision as I to wait till the examination was over.

This was from the device in my neck, the data has probably already been sent to the teachers and they are already getting rated by the clans central rating intelligence.
They have created their rating to the achievement of their hosts even if it's dog-shit compared to the system rating programs rating system but it works.

Reading all this I can't help but grin.
' well I'll be damned….it seems that having children is more problems then it's worth…noted I'm never having kids then.' i thought in amusement and closed the review and looked at the teachers who stood up as a hologram appeared behind them showing the ratings of the examinations and immediately I see my name on the top 10 in the 7th spot with a Ranking of A+ making me shrugg but looking at the ones with me I frowned as they were all high-ups children like the first person leading the top 10 was the clan leaders child.
'….I'm pretty sure the guy had more materials,there is no way and what's with all of them being the clan councils children?' I thought watching as the clan leaders kids looked at me and frowned making me scoff inside.
' well…none of my problem I'll be out of here as soon as I get out of here anyway…but being in the top10 has made things harder then they should have…' Thinking of ways I can run the fuck out of here I just shrugged after a while.
'well all in all no one can stop me from just running away to some corner of this realm of even just leaving it and going to the hellplanes.' making up contingency plans I waited for the teacher to walk up towards the front and then with a wave of his hand a box appeared in my desk of which I immediately used my space magic to put in my storage space earning surprised looks from those around me who saw me use a difficult branch of magic such as space magic.
" For the top 10 they are given rewards for their amazing display of system crafting, now you are required to choose one of these men behind me as your masters as they will nurture you to the best of their abilities. You are given a single day to choose and in that time they are able to come to you give you deals on your servitude under them. Other then that you are all allowed to return to your dorms." The teacher said which immediately made all the students walk towards the men sitting besides the door and seeing nothing to do and definitely not becoming a disciple of either of them I walked out of the class under the scrutiny of the other students.
Immediately I started walking towards the academy exit gate and after 10 minutes of unobstructed walking I made it and walking out I found myself in view of other human-like demon walking around while some manned shops with monster parts for sale and some walking inside huge buildings by the side.
This was the clans city, each clan has a city of their own they protect and conduct their business in and make their own law's.
The academy is just besides the shopping district so that students have an easier time getting material for their systems.
Walking off from the shopping district I walked towards a special place by the city gate which outside housed nothing but a forest with monsters at every corner but I didn't need to go there at all.
Walking towards a the side of the gate I found a man sitting by a platform in a stall looking at a book…porn book.
" excuse me how much is it to go the nearest free city?" I asked, free cities are cities that are not under any clan but controlled by a demonic government of some sort and most of the time you'd find millions of people inside a single city making a living.
" The nearest city is Hocus City and transportation to it will be 100 soul coins." The man said neber taking his eyes off the book and before I could take out the soul coins I heard a slurping noise under the stall making me freeze for a second before shaking my head and taking out a bag full of soul coins.
Soul coins are the currency that demon's use to trade and sell items, soul coins are created from souls of mortals and even anything with a strong enough soul to be turned into one, soul coins can be devoured to increase your strength even if this way if growing stronger is ineffective since you'd need strong souls to gain a substantial power boost in the first place.
This body had about 380 stored in his things that so I am good for a bit but I think I'll need more.
Giving the bag of soul coins to the man he smiled grabbing the bag and dropping it besides him before he pressed a button of some sort making the platform to shine in a beautiful circle pattern.
Walking inside the circle I am immediately teleported and a second later I am between a dozen or so people who have also been teleported to this city and looking around myself I see a Morden slightly futuristic city Infront of me with skyscrapers, hover-cars and the such moving around.
Stepping out of the circle I walk towards a billboard by the teleportation circle and stared at it finding a map by the corner of which I looked up places to rent out so I can have a roof over my head and I even found some recommendations to some inn's or something like that having cheap rooms.
Immediately I started walking towards an inn that had a price of 20 Soul coins a week with food by the bad side of the city.
' sure….why not' i thought slightly miffed that I was gonna stay by the slum area of the city.
