Arianne's group were being besieged by a mutant earth zombie and its underlings at the gates of the largest wholesale market. They couldn't go through since the road was jammed pack with abandoned cars, so decided to take a detour, but unknowingly attracted a Level 1 mutant earth zombie's attention.

Because of his Mate's threat of sending him back to his Brother Lambert, Ryett had become more reserved in fighting. He didn't charge ahead anymore and avoided getting the fabric on his fur stained from the blood of the zombies. His Brother Lambert's fur may be cozy and warm, but it couldn't compare to his mate's fur, not only it would keep him warm throughout the night, it also smelled good and prevented him from having nightmares.
