Dante quickly grabbed his glass of water and drank it.

A pair of silver eyes collided with two red rubies, trying to deduce what the owner was thinking. Dante wouldn't believe Magnus was suddenly generous and caring toward his rival.

Arianne had been bothered by Dante's odd behavior, and now that Magnus had pointed it out, "Are you alright?" she asked while examining his appearance with a worried gaze.

"Wife, I'm healthy as a horse", Dante replied while keeping his gaze on Magnus, whose mind was undoubtedly having devious thoughts. "Wife, how about checking on Ryett instead? He was wounded last night", he continued, while hinting at Ryett with his brows. Kid, show Magnus what you got. Come on. You can't be a wimp!

Magnus' maintained his observation of the two.

Ryett realized that Dante was backing him up. He was secretly elated. Alright Teacher!

"Ryett, how is your wound?" Arianne turned her body to his side. Concern was evident on her face.
